The hotels were well placed near train stations and the information sent was correct and useful. She responded quickly to a mistake in the dates and made adjustments with an excellent attitude and accommodation. We found Norway to be very beautiful and the people were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of the best holidays we have had. A very interesting and well planned tour with overnight stops on good accommodaton. The areas marked on the map by the agent indicated all the interesting places to see on our tour, all of which were within very easy reach of the main road.
An odeal holiday for anyone with any mobility problems. We booked a combination trip to Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo with Nordic Visitor and we had a wonderful holiday.
We cannot speak highly enough of the people we dealt with at Nordic Visitor and are now recommending them to everyone we meet. When we arrived Reykjavik we were greeted at airport with a welcoming package that included everything that we needed. We had one minor glitch that untimatly ended up working out in our favor. The GPS which came with our car made navigating Iceland a breeze. We partially like the freedom of being able to stop when ever we saw something that interested us. Nordic Visitors website makes planning a trip to Iceland very easy.
All the optional tours we picked where of high quality. We partially liked white water rafting and glacier lagoon. We are strongly considering planning another trip with them.

My friends and I fell in love with Iceland and its friendly people, it's gorgeous natural scenery and delicious food.

I wish Nordic Visitor serviced the entire globe. In other words, it's everything you need and more to ensure you have fun and peace of mind when traveling this beautiful and rugged country. It's great value for the money spent. They handled our special requests (adding an extra day and changing our party size) promptly and happily. We did our own independent research yet it overlapped with most of what Nordic Visitor gave us. We were all impressed with the quality and quantity of information that we received once we booked the self-drive package.
Yet we were blown away by the packets of info we received when we arrived. Nordic Visitor provided a printed copy of the day-by-day itinerary and the site highlights book they had emailed us.
They had a voucher for all of our package features (rental car, accommodations, airport transfer) so all we did at each location was hand them a voucher - so easy. The cell phone had Nordic Visitor saved in the contacts. The GPS had the key sites and some of the hotels already loaded.
The road map of Iceland was color coded and the location of each accommodation was circled with the name and date of check-in written in. There was a book with details of every city and site with driving info. The country is spectacular!. It was easy for us because all the accommodations were arranged and were great. There was a detailed itinerary and information, back-up systems if needed, and quick and thorough service from Hilmar in the office. I would love to have taken 2 weeks instead of one to really absorb the country but what we experienced in beauty, natural phenomenon, and nice people made for a terrific vacation.But the quality of the facility must remain high, irrespectively of its size.
